Business Lockouts We Handle
- Keys lost or locked inside the building.
- A key broken off in the lock.
- A lock that jammed or stopped working.
- A former employee left without returning the keys.
- Offices, stores and warehouses — front doors, back doors, interior offices and stock rooms.
- Storage units — lost key or a lock that won't open, with proof that the unit is yours.
Proof of Authorization
Before opening any business or storage unit, we confirm that you're allowed to be inside. Have a photo ID ready, along with a lease, business registration papers, a rental agreement or other document that ties you to the property — or have the owner or property manager available to confirm by phone. It's the same check you'd want a locksmith to run on anyone trying to open your door.
After the Door Is Open
If your keys were lost or stolen, or someone who left still has a copy, the lockout is a good time to take back control:
- Rekey the lock so the old keys stop working — from $125 per cylinder.
- Repair or replace a worn or damaged lock — priced by quote.
- Plan a master key system if you're juggling too many keys for too many doors.
Pay by cash, any major credit card or contactless payment. We serve businesses across Central Florida, and AK Locksmith is fully insured.
